Evidence Ready CCTV Standards Licensing Programme
The "Evidence Ready " logo is introduced as a quality sign for CCTV digital video recorders (DVR's) capable of producing evidence quality images and awarded on the basis of minimum functionality requirements.
The Evidence Ready CCTV standards licensing programme has been designed to help the police retrieve evidence quickly and easily by providing them with all the information they need to export and view the evidence.
The "Evidence Ready" logo is awarded within a self-certification regime for CCTV digital video recorders that are capable of producing and exporting evidence quality images as defined by the requirements detailed in the license agreement document.
Each CCTV digital video recorder tested under the scheme will be given a urn that can be displayed on the unit. This urn is linked to a centralized database that will contain information on the export options available, instructions on how to the export footage and all the software needed to playback the exported footage. Access to the database is only available to the Police.

Step 1
Download the document Evidence Ready LOGO LICENSE AGREEMENT. Fill out and sign the agreement, one for each model CCTV digital video recorder. The agreement should be sent via mail to Evidence Ready Ltd, 6 Rhodfa Sant Elian, Old Colwyn, Conwy, LL29 8PY, UK.
The document represents the formal license agreement. It contains the terms and conditions for using the logo, and the necessary legal provisions.
Step 2
Upon receipt of the agreement, we will forward you an invoice number for the payment of the fee and the a URN for each model.
We will return 1 countersigned copy of license agreement. Within one week of receiving the signed document.
Please note: The agreement shall not become effective until the licensor has received the applicable logo administration fee from Licensee.
Your details will be held on our database. This will allow us to notify you of any changes to the scheme and also to prompt your renewal at the end of your licence term.
You should be aware that the brand name and model listed in annex B of the license agreement will be made publicly available on this web site in due course.
